With over 10 years in the wedding business and 150+ weddings under my belt, I have learned a thing or two....

I have learned that my brides want photos they are proud of- where everyone looks their best and their skin is on point (I got you!). They want classic, beautiful portraits of their wedding day, and their amazing families. Fads in editing and color will come and go, but crisp, vibrant portraits are forever. My brides want a mixture of traditional poses and photo-journalistic ones. They also want help with that posing- they aren't professional models, they just look like ones!! My brides want an expert beside them on their day. They want to know that in rain or shine, bad light or good light, that I have their back. They want someone they trust to look to when things are getting a little tricky in the chaos of the wedding day. My brides want someone to not be afraid to say, "you need more lipstick" or "hold on, we are pinning that piece of hair thats falling before we start". Yes, I am a photographer first, but I wear all these hats happily for my couples and cherish every moment- and truly believe it is a calling and a gift.
